Overview

AIM Theatre (AIM) are thrilled to be presenting Charlie’s Girls, a new cabaret show celebrating the songs of composer Charles Miller.

Charles is a highly regarded composer with a string of credits to his name, most recently The Pleasure Garden, with lyrics by Glenn Chandler, which enjoyed a highly successful run at Above The Stag Theatre winning Best Musical in the 2022 Off-West End Awards. The Return Of The Soldier, written with Tim Sanders, played at Jermyn Street Theatre in London and Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester, winning many 5 star reviews, as well as several nominations for best new musical. His many collaborations with New York Lyricist Kevin Hammonds include When Midnight Strikes, Brenda Bly:Teen Detective and Hope, all of which have had successful London runs. Most of his shows have been published by the Rodgers & Hammerstein Corporation, resulting in productions all over the UK, USA and Germany. He has four albums of his work recorded, sung by the likes of Caroline O’Connor, Cassidy Janson, Pia Douwes, Julie Atherton, Louise Plowright, Lyndsey Danvers & Brenda Edwards.

AIM are so happy to have three stunning West End stars – Melissa Jacques (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Wicked, Kinky Boots, Mamma Mia), Lucyelle Cliffe (Wicked, Les Miserables, Legally Blonde, Into the Woods) and Emma Odell (Kinky Boots, Mamma Mia, Wind in the Willows, The Good Enough Mums Club and more) – all performing as Charlie’s Girls!

Charles’ songs reach so many different genres and there will be a song for everyone in this fantastic show.
