Overview
Scott Folan is a 23 year old Actor and Singer-songwriter. Coming off the recent announcement that he will feature in the next ‘Hunger Games’ movie, he’s excited to share the other piece of art he’s been working on, and launch his next album of original songs: ‘Other Days’ at the Union Theatre on July 20th at 7:30pm. The album is an honest exploration of Scott’s mental health, which he felt was important to share through his music, as it’s the language that he feels the most confident and comfortable with.
As the album does include songs about Scott’s mental health, he felt it was important to use it to raise money and awareness for a place that you can go, if you feel that your mental health is worsening, or beginning down a path that you don’t think you can go down alone. ‘Mind’ is a charity that provides advice and support around mental health and raises awareness of the issue. Which is why a significant proportion of the evening’s ticket price will be donated to ‘Mind’, to ensure that they can continue to do the work that helped 120,000 people in 2018/19 alone.
Scott doesn’t gig very often, but when he does, he likes to make sure the night is as special as it can be, and since this will also be the first time that he has been on a stage this year… You will not want to miss this one-off, exciting event with yet-to-be-announced special guests and new, original music from Scott Folan!
