Overview

Comfort

by Giannine Tan

Comfort is an educational play that hopes to not teach but share a part of history that is not widely known. It explores the horrors of war, the consequences for the innocent and sheds light to victims as they navigate a world after the war. It features a fictional character named Lola Hilum as she tells the story of the first Filipina comfort woman who paved the way for other Filipinas to share their own capture and enslavement in WW2.

Night Shift

by Ellen Turner

You wouldn’t expect your life to be changed completely after a journey on the London 43 night bus. But at 3.00am, on the way home from a bang average night out, this is about to become Abigail’s reality. Having had the optimism of her twenties beaten out of her by years of relentless city life, hopelessness seems to shroud any possible future. That is, until she meets Azrael, an enigmatic, equally cynical fellow passenger with the ability to alter the course of her existence forever… or did she?
