Overview

Wax your bowstrings and spit polish your arrows this Christmas, as Robin is in town to leave you throbbing with excitement!

Things are looking dreary in Frottingham. With the recent absence of King Dicky, his undesirable brother, Prince Andy, takes charge and has put the sadistic Sheriff to task to wring every last penny out of the poor peasants of the town.

It’s down to our virile outlaw hero, Robin, to save the townsfolk from poverty, along with his band of rather outlandish ‘brothers’. And, as the legend foretells, they like to take from the rich and give to the greedy… sorry, needy… twice nightly.

But can Robin ever save Maid Marion from the sweaty grasps of Prince Andy? Can Freya Tucked lead herself from temptation, even when she’s touching the papal cloth? Will we ever find out what happened that fateful night in the forest between Robin and Little John Thomas? Who knows?

Only one thing’s for certain. With all the gang in tow, and the help of a certain Spirit of the Forest to ‘Turn Back Time’, you are in for a filthily funny, shamefully salacious, marvellously messy time at the Union Theatre this Christmas!
