Overview

Angletwitch Dance Company present their debut production, CROSSCURRENTS.

CROSSCURRENTS is a one-hour dance-theatre production exploring the emotional and
psychological landscape of a woman’s journey through life.

Drawing inspiration from the sea as both a physical force and a metaphor for change, the
piece uses recurring movement motifs to reflect the ebb and flow of experience —
resilience, loss, renewal, and resistance. It does not shy away from the complexities —
delving into both the strength and struggle that shape a woman’s identity over time.

CROSSCURRENTS offers a raw yet poetic reflection on what it means to endure, evolve,
and reclaim one’s voice in the face of internal and external pressure
