Overview

Tokyo. 1989. The economy is booming, the music scene is innovating, and the UK-Japan McKilmey Consultancy international work party is attended by a grand total of 2 people. Isao Kumakawa, a Japanese salary man in his thirties troubled over his waning love for his pregnant wife, and Henry Curtis; an up-and-coming British consultant on a business trip bridled with an addiction to self-harm that’s putting his life at risk. After a shocking incident traps the two of them in the Karaoke room, indefinitely, with an infinite supply of alcohol, disagreements emerge, secrets slip and a friendship blooms to the popping tunes of a changing Tokyo.
