Overview

The theatre company La Perdida is just hours away from opening their most anticipated show, La Paciente. But two hours before curtain up, everything begins to go wrong… very wrong. In this witty comedy-drama with a strong metatheatrical edge, the play reveals who people really are when they’re pushed under pressure, and who is willing to put “the show must go on” above their own personal truths.

La Movida Theatre Company presents its second Spanish-language production, following the premiere of Such Is Life at the Hen & Chickens Theatre Pub in June 2025. This show will be performed in Spanish, while remaining fully accessible to English-speaking audiences through live, simultaneous English subtitles.
