Overview
The Almost Show makes its debut at the Union Theatre for an evening of bold new writing, live performance and industry conversation.
This scratch night showcases selected scenes of TV and theatre – brilliant works in progress – from a curated group of emerging writers. Each piece is performed by trained actors, offering audiences the rare opportunity to experience new stories at their most electric and unfinished stage.
Designed as a supportive, collaborative space, the evening brings together writers, actors, industry professionals and anyone with an interest in scripted development for performance followed by informal feedback and discussion in the bar. It’s a chance to see ideas on their feet, connect with new voices and be part of the creative process while the work is still evolving.
All profits from the night go directly back to the talent involved.
