Back in 2014, Samuel Haughton and Claire Rivers had the sheer audacity to present “Songs from the Shower” – a musical splish-splash around Sam’s shower sanctuary, soundtracked by his favourite theatrical hits, warbled into a loofah. Come on – you’ve met him, you kinda like him… What did you think he was going to do!?
The good/dreadful news (delete as inappropriate) is that we’re at it again.
Over the past 12 years, Sam has managed to manoeuvre himself from aggressively singing at the wet tiles and emerging through the steam to the strains (and what a strain) of ‘Defying Gravity’… to the sofa. From shower to sofa. Probably still in his dressing gown. That’s…that’s the journey Sam believes people will still want to hear about. And pay for the privilege.
With Sam fast-approaching his impending nuptials – not quite as dirty as it sounds, but almost – there’s just about time for one more quick foray into the scandalous depths of cabaret, before some poor soul attempts to make an even more honest man out of him.
Join us for an evening of musical musings and mayhem, as this hairy-but-otherwise-Bridget-
Jones-alike tries to musically figure out how the hell he finally managed to snag a husband…
