Overview

Steven Clark is a bold new queer writer with a wicked ear for humour, a fearless appetite for darkness, and a deep belief that the most urgent stories are the ones we’re still scared to say out loud. VOICES is a showcase of six brand-new plays—performed by a group of actors from within the queer community—celebrating queer talent onstage and on the page, and putting lived truth, grit, and heart front and centre.
BRUISED — A raw, razor-close drama about homophobia, survival, and the moment you have to decide – how do you forgive the boy who watched?
BENEATH THE UNIFORM — A one-man reckoning with masculinity, duty, desire—and the secrets stitched under a War that changed everything.
F*CKED — Sex, power, shame and obsession collide when a “bit of fun” turns into something you can’t undo.
THE WEIGHT WE CARRY — Six lives. One room. When truth is the heaviest burden, sharing it is the only way to survive. AVAILABLE — Booked. Bare. Broken.—a brutal, funny, unfiltered portrait of sex work, identity, and being seen.
JURY’S OUT — A courtroom without the courtroom: certainty fractures, silence speaks, and everyone leaves changed. How certain is certain if doubt is all we have? Silence has consequences.
An evening not to be missed—vibrant new writing, fierce queer performances, and stories that don’t just entertain… they hit.
